It was 30 years ago when Marty McFly went back to the future to save his kids. He came in a time when there were hoverboards and flying cars, clothes that fit every person and self-lacing shoes. When  you look at the movie you will see a lot of things that came true, just in a different way. But what can we say about 30 years from now? If we were to step into the DeLorean to travel to October 21, 2045 what would we see?

Flying cars already exist but we don´t use them. Hoverboards now have wheels, but there are people who try to make them without. The self-lacing shoes came out this year, there are only a few and you can bid on them (the money goes to the Michael J. Fox foundation for Parkinson’s research) but maybe they will be on the shelves permanently in 2045. These, of course, are the big things we see, but from all those small predictions most of them really came true, such as the video chat, (virtual) computer games, vacuum transport tubes, knowing when it is going to rain and when it will stop, not using a turntable any longer, using less paper, being able to open doors with your thumb, even a small portable computer. And there are  more things you can see in the movie we do/have or don´t do/have these days. And yes, these are things people were already trying to invent in the year the movie was made, but still, all those things came true.
