A study from the Tel Aviv University has shown that Cannabidiol (CBD) can help heal bones. Cannabidiol is an non hallucinogenic chemical which the marijuana plants contain. Cannabidiol has no sides effects if you don’t overuse it. The study was done with rats with broken limbs. The rats were given CBD and the healing process of their limbs was markedly enhanced. The chemical in the plants helps broken bones heal faster. The study has shown that not only did the bones heal quicker but the bones also were stronger. Weed also can be used for osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is a disease of the bones. People who have this disease have weak bones and may break their bones by only a minor fall or even a sneeze. Medical weed is currently mainly used for side effects of chemotherapy and chronic pain. It’s like the CBD oil it doesn’t get you high, so it’s actually like a regular medicine but it’s still not used for people who have problems with their bones, which is a shame. If it does help why don’t we use it?
